CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - Police are searching for an inmate they say walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City.
The Nevada Department of Corrections says Randy Bauman, a minimum security offender, walked away from the camp on Tuesday, and was determined to be missing during the 6:00 p.m. count.
Bauman was admitted to the camp in October of 2024 from Carson City. Bauman was serving a sentence of 24-60 months for burglary of a business and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.
Bauman is described as being a white male, 5 foot 10, 170 pounds with blue eyes and a bald head with a goatee. He has tattoo sleeves on both arms and “Breed of Hate” on his abdomen.
