A Columbia business sold a lottery ticket that won a Boone County player a $3.2 million jackpot prize during the Oct. 15 lotto drawing, according to a news release from the Missouri Lottery.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Midwest Petroleum No 94 on South Providence Road in Columbia.

The winning numbers for that night’s drawing were 8, 11, 15, 18, 30 and 34. The lottery player matched all six numbers and claimed his prize at the Missouri Lottery Headquarters in Jefferson City, according to the release.

“At first, I thought I had matched five of the six numbers, but then I looked again and realized I had all six,” the winner said in the news release. “I have to say, I had a little trouble falling asleep after finding out I won.”
