A championship match between AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and Mercedes Mone has been set for the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. Statlander has accepted the challenge laid out by Mone, and the two will face each other for the title. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The challenge was initiated by Mone following the events of the AEW WrestleDream event. The animosity between the two escalated throughout that night, beginning after Statlander successfully defended her AEW Women’s World Championship against Toni Storm. Mone who also holds the TBS Championship, interrupted Statlander’s post-match celebration.
