WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Kansas lawmakers looking to save the state some money say they have big questions about the fees college students are paying on top of their tuition.

The Senate Committee on Government Efficiency got overviews of the finances in several different state agencies this week, including the Board of Regents- run state universities. Those schools include the University of Kansas , Kansas State University , Fort Hays State University , Emporia State University , Wichita State University and Pittsburg State University .
