Just one week ago, I was writing to inform you of our persistently settled and warm weather, with temperatures remaining well above average. Well, I have a new story for you now. Tonight marks the coolest night we’ll experience since April. These cool conditions (temperatures dropping to ~40F for most of us) are attributed to the placement of the high pressure system stationed over the Midwest, and a low pressure system in eastern Canada pooling in cold air. These systems, paired with a consistent breeze and a lack of cloud cover will allow for a frost advisory to be issued to counties in the northern portion of our viewing area.
