BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The WKU Student Government Association hosted its annual Pink Walk in support of breast cancer research.
The walk included hearing from a doctor at Graves Gilbert Clinic, and others who have their own stories as to how this has affected them.
Big Red was even on hand to take part in the walk, as SGA looks to raise money for the Susan G Komen Foundation.
The idea came a few years back with a former SGA Vice President and his personal connection to this disease.
“It started with Dante Reid. He was the vice president last year and the year before that… and he had fraternity members in his fraternity that had moms with breast cancer. Men can get breast cancer too… and we would just like to make that more known, which was the idea of Pink Walk is to share that informati
