BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Several families in Hueytown are upset after they say a manager at a Wendy’s locked their teenagers inside of the restaurant and accusing them of paying with fake cash.
Hueytown police confirmed Wednesday that the manager is facing charges with warrants out for her arrest.
In a news release , police say the unnamed manager is facing three counts of false imprisonment and a harassment charge.
“She said ‘y’all not leaving til I get my money’ and then one of my friends tried to leave she had pushed him and then she called the police on us,” said Derrick Leonard, who paid for his meal at the restaurant on Oct. 16 with a $50 bill.
