Wylie claiming the district championship has been a formality for over a week, and the Pirates completed a perfect 16-0 run to the 9-6A title on Tuesday with a 25-20, 25-15, 25-15 win over Sachse.

Wylie will get a chance to sit back and relax on Friday on the final day of the district season with its bye, but other teams have much more at stake.
