LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -When the weather gets colder and the leaves start to fall, your car feels it too.
Before that first frost turns to snow, mechanics say a few quick checks can prevent some seasonal headaches.
“Tire pressure seems to be the big thing. People coming in, everybody’s got a tire light inside their car now. As it cools down, the tires will condense a little bit. The air pressure will lower a little bit, turns on them lights inside your car, it says, hey, you need a little air,” said Jerry Carpenter with Liskey’s Auto Truck Service.
But it’s not just tires, cooler temperatures can affect everything from what’s under the hood to what helps you see the road ahead.
Mechanics say that it’s important to make sure that your tire pressure and wiper blades are checked and ready
