SCHENECTADY — A , calling for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to respond to an Eastern Avenue work site is still under city review. And, councilman John Mootooveren said he is "disappointed" with the lack of action to address the situation.
During the July 18 incident, Schenectady Chief Building Inspector Brian Trinci called the county dispatcher to request police presence at the worksite where a Thomas Paul Construction crew was working on a home’s roof without permits, with Trinci telling the dispatcher that he believed “illegals” were working at the site.
