The 49th Annual Mountain Makins Festival returns to Rose Center this weekend, celebrating Appalachian heritage, arts, and community through three days of live music, traditional crafts, storytelling, regional authors, and family-friendly fun.
The festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 25–26, with an exclusive Preview Party Friday, October 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Preview Party offers guests an early look at the juried arts and crafts show, live music from Boogertown Gap, hors d’oeuvres, wine, and the opportunity for early purchase of select crafts. Each Preview Party ticket includes admission for both festival days, and tickets must be purchased in advance at www.rosecenter.org/online-store .
