BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - More than a dozen people were arrested on Wednesday in a human and sex trafficking sting in Berrien County.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office says it partnered with the Pokagon Band Tribal Police Department, the Michigan City Police Department and the Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET-West) for a large-scale operation.

Police say 15 arrests were made for sex exploitation-related crimes and one arrest was made for outstanding warrants. None of the suspects have been identified yet.
