The federal opposition has doubled down on calls for a parliamentary investigation into eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant's powers.
SkyNews.com.au revealed Ms Inman-Grant attempted to avoid scrutiny by sending a five-page letter to shadow communications minister Melissa McIntosh.
Ms McIntosh told Sky News on Thursday her calls for an inquiry triggered the letter and a meeting with Ms Inman-Grant.
She said she remained committed to demanding a senate probe into the eSafety Commissioner’s authority.
“I still stand my ground on this calling for an investigation into the powers that the eSafety Commissioner has,” Ms McIntosh told Sky News.
