CLINTON TWP. – Port Huron’s girls volleyball team came into its final Macomb Area Conference Blue Division match with a goal and it wasn’t about to let its toughest division rival spoil it.

“We came into this (match) with really good energy,” senior defensive specialist and libero Bryn Mullins said Wednesday after the Red Hawks defeated Clinton Township Chippewa Valley 26-24, 25-20, 25-15 to finish the league season 10-0.

“It isn’t easy to play them but we set that goal (of going undefeated in the MAC Blue) and we came here to finish it.”

The last two seasons, Chippewa Valley and Port Huron shared the MAC Blue championship and in 2022 the Big Reds finished first with the Red Hawks a game behind.
