ANDOVER, Kan. (KSNW) — For this week's Game of the Week, it's a rivalry almost 25 years in the making, the battle of Andover.

Since the schools split in 2001, it's always a dog fight when they clash, but Andover Central has gotten the best of its rival since 2017. Jamie Cruce's Trojans, though, have won five straight after an 0-2 start, and he said their key to success is simple.

"We've had a few games where we had to dig down to make some plays in the second or third quarter, where things were still pretty close. Our guys have done a nice job of focusing and just doing their job," said Cruce.
