EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - Raquel Viviani Aranda, also known as Raquel Cruz, was sentenced to eight years in state prison and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution, according to a Wednesday, Oct. 22, El Dorado County District Attorney Facebook post.

On Monday, Oct. 20, Aranda pleaded no contest to 10 felony counts of identity theft and admitted to three aggravating factors and a white-collar crime enhancement, the post said. The enhancement requires a state prison sentence when the fraud involves multiple related felonies and losses exceeding $100,000.

The judge waived time served, which was more than a year.
