CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cuyahoga County jury Wednesday found a Shaker Heights man guilty of shooting and killing two teens in Cleveland’s Slavic Village neighborhood.

Phoenix Brown, 19, was convicted of aggravated murder in the Jan. 14 deaths of Khalyn White, 17, and Julius Baron, 16, of Bedford Heights. Jurors also found Brown guilty of felonious assault, aggravated robbery, receiving stolen property, grand theft and firearm and drug offenses.

Common Pleas Judge Richard Bell will sentence Brown, who faces life in prison, on Monday.

County prosecutors called about 20 witnesses during the trial, which lasted about a week and a half. Brown showed little reaction when the verdict was read. He did not testify.
