GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Local elected officials held a news conference on Wednesday afternoon to condemn 'Wanted 'posters that were recently displayed throughout Green Bay.

"Let's not forget the historical context of these photos," said Green Bay alder Melinda Eck. "They were once used to rally civilians in the pursuit and capture of individuals often with the dangerous implication of bringing them in dead or alive."

Eck, fellow Green Bay alder Jennifer Grant, and congressman Tony Wied's names and pictures all appeared on these 'Wanted' posters. The posters accused the alders of discriminating against the LGBTQ+ community among other things and accused Tony Wied of ignoring his constituents and protecting wealthy pedophiles.
