Hakim Ziyech was born in the Netherlands, but he went on to become a Moroccan international who starred at the 2022 World Cup.

Ziyech helped Morocco make it to the semi-finals of the last World Cup, where they lost to the runners-up, France.

The winger did play for the Netherlands up to U21 level, and represented the country's top clubs. He played for Heerenveen, Twente, and Ajax before joining Chelsea in 2020.

Ziyech had great success at Chelsea and was part of the side that won the Champions League in the 2020/21 season.

A frustrating moment in Ziyech's career came in January 2023, when he was denied a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain due to an administrative error.
