A heated dispute at a petrol pump in Rajasthan's Bhilwara quickly escalated into a physical altercation after a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) slapped an employee, prompting another staffer to retaliate by slapping the officer back. A video of the incident went viral on social media, prompting police to intervene and arrest three petrol pump employees.

According to reports, the altercation began when SDM Chhotu Lal Sharma, currently posted in Pratapgarh, visited the petrol pump with his wife, Deepika Vyas.

In her complaint to the police, Vyas alleged that one of the petrol pump workers winked at her, which angered her husband and prompted him to confront the employee. The worker then left their vehicle and began refuelling the car behind them.
