Week 7 was not too pleasant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . The Bucs went head-to-head against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field and suffered a huge 24-9 defeat to the Lions’ defense, limiting the Baker Mayfield-led offense to just 9 points. The controversial officiating aside, Mayfield also owned up to the fact that his offensive team was not up to the mark on Monday night.
“We still want to be a little bit more balanced,” Mayfield said to the media after Wednesday’s practice. “And that’s just, receivers are going to be tired. All lines are going to be tired. And just with that defensive front, you never want to have to drop back 50 times. It’s not really fair for anybody.”
