Seattle police detectives are investigating a fatal collision in North Seattle last night.
On Oct. 22, at about 10:15 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a hit and run collision into a pedestrian in the 7300 block of 15th Avenue Northwest. There, officers found a man down in the roadway.
The suspect vehicle, possibly a silver sedan with front-end damage, fled the area before police arrived, and officers did not find it.
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and provided medical care to the victim. Despite all life-saving efforts, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and SFD pronounced him deceased at the scene.
