The first one-dayer between Australia and India in Perth had a bit of everything — rain delays, crowd energy, and some typical Aussie grit.

It might have been a shortened game, but it was a solid reminder of how tough Australia are to beat at home, especially on the fast, bouncy decks of Perth.

The sea of blue in the stands was something else; it almost felt like the 2015 World Cup semifinal all over again. Indian fans turned up loud and proud, but the Aussies turned up on the scoreboard.
