The mother of an autistic man who worked unpaid for more than four years at a Waitrose branch in Greater Manchester has broken her silence for the first time. Tom Boyd, 27, had been undertaking unpaid work experience at the Cheadle Hulme outlet for two complete mornings weekly, primarily restocking shelves.
