South View's Jamal Brown isn't your typical quarterback.

As a 6-foot-3, 275-pounder coming into high school, Tigers coach Rodney Brewington had already heard about Brown before his arrival, and the coach knew immediately after it that he had found his starting left tackle.

"We knew about Jamal coming out of middle school," Brewington said. "He was so athletic that we projected him to be our starting left tackle."
