LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Quiet weather continues to stick around for our Thursday and into Friday as high pressure remains in place.
Some of us may need a light jacket as we step out the door this morning with most areas back into the lower to middle 50s.
More sunshine will break out as we head through the afternoon and that will help to boost us back into the lower to middle 80s.
Winds will be a little more east to southeasterly over the next 24 hours and that will help to bring back more moisture and humidity ahead of our cold front on Saturday.
Any outdoor plans you may have Friday including Friday Night Football looks okay for the time being as the timing of the rain has slowed just a touch over the last 24 hours.
Spotty showers and storms look to arrive starting late Friday eve
