The impasse over the Asia Cup trophy — which India had refused to accept at last month’s closing ceremony amid tensions with Pakistan — continues, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ) reportedly reaching out to Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chairman Mohsin Naqvi to arrange the handover. Naqvi, who also serves as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, told reporters in Karachi that the ACC has informed the BCCI that a formal ceremony will be held in Dubai on November 10 to present India with the trophy.
