High school football is the lifeblood of Georgia, and some towns shut down on Friday nights as crowds gather to see their hometown teams battle under the lights.

Marching bands are a big part of the pageantry, and band directors take as much pride as football coaches do when it comes to having their squads perform on Friday night.

There are 16 schools in the Greater Savannah area that have bands who live for the chance to show off their talents at halftime of games on Friday nights.
