India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is expected to play in Saurashtra’s upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh, starting Saturday at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.

The seasoned all-rounder, who was not selected for India’s ODI squad currently touring Australia, has made himself available for Saurashtra’s first-class match to remain match-ready for the Test series against South Africa next month, according to a Cricbuzz report.

The 36-year-old top-ranked Test all-rounder last featured in a Ranji Trophy match against Assam in the previous edition of the tournament. That season, he played in two matches and earned the Player of the Match award against Delhi with an outstanding all-round performance, scoring 38 runs and taking five wickets for 66 runs and seven wickets
