A man was shot in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston on Wednesday night and left with grave injuries.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Oct. 22, according to the Boston Police Department.

A man with life-threatening gunshot wounds was found at 15 Saint Rose St., police said. He was brought to a nearby hospital.

The incident was under active investigation on Wednesday night with Boston police homicide detectives at the scene, according to the department.

No arrests made in connection with the shooting have been publicly announced.
