Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, will inaugurate the 84th Indian Roads Congress (IRC) at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
The event will run from November 7 to 10, 2025. Odisha Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan confirmed the development on Thursday.
This marks the sixth time Odisha will host the prestigious IRC session. The four-day congress will welcome more than 2,000 IRC representatives and around 3,500 engineers and chief engineers from across India. Additionally, VVIPs, senior officials, and top experts from the road and transport sector will participate in the event.
Gadkari, who regularly inaugurates IRC sessions, will address the delegates and outline the central government’s initiatives in road development, safety, and technological innovation. H
