If you watched Michael Jordan's debut on the new NBA on NBC segment known as MJ: Insights to Excellence, you may recall that he said he hadn't picked up a basketball in years before he did so while renting a house during the 2025 Ryder Cup.
The owner, as he recounted, came over and brought his grandkids and asked Jordan to hit a free throw.
"It's the most nervous I've been in years," he said. "Those kids heard the stories from the parents of what I did about 30 years ago."
He hit the free throw, of course. And now you can see that free throw thanks to video that dropped. It really shows how nervous Jordan was and how, as usual, he didn't wilt under pressure.
Classic clutch MJ.
