(Smithville) — Coming off their first district win of the season, the Navarro Panthers will go for two-in-a-row when they travel to Smithville for a District 13-4A tangle with the Tigers on Friday.
The Panthers took down Gonzales, 31-14, at homecoming at Navarro High School last week to improve to 1-3 in district. Emerson Elder had two interceptions for the Navarro defense while Braddock Gallini recovered a fumble. Elder, Brody Zoeller and Dylan Trotti each reached the end zone for the offense.
Navarro head coach Glenn Hill talked about the play of his quarterback, Austin Davidson, and the continued progress from the offense and defense.
