Colleen Hoover has written a number of cinematic novels.

The author has published over 20 books, many of which have earned a spot on The New York Times bestsellers list, become "BookTok" sensations and made their way to Hollywood.

Hoover's first book adaptation hit the small screen in 2017 when her novel Confess was turned into a seven-episode television series. Seven years later, in August 2024, Hoover's bestseller It Ends With Us, premiered in theaters, marking the author's first book-to-movie adaptation.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that month, Hoover said seeing the final product of It Ends With Us was both "overwhelming" and "surreal."
