CHICAGO (WLS) -- Governor JB Pritzker is expected to sign an executive order on federal deployment in Illinois on Thursday.

Details regarding the order have not been released.

The governor's office said the order will "pursue accountability for the people of Illinois amid the federal deployments."

On Wednesday, a federal judge agreed to extend a temporary restraining order blocking deployment of the National Guard in the Chicago area indefinitely.

The initial TRO was set to expire on Thursday, but will now continue.

Pritzker is expected to sign the new executive order at 9 a.m. in Chicago on Thursday.
