ADELAIDE: Australia defeated India by two wickets in the second ODI to clinch the series. Cooper Connolly's half-century saved the day for Australia as the team survived a batting scare early on.

Indian bowlers Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh and Washington Sundar excelled in their bowling, but their efforts didn't bear fruit. Batting first, India scored 264 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs. The partnership of openers Rohit Sharma (97 off 73 balls) and Shreyas Iyer (61 off 77 balls) laid the foundation for the Indian innings.
