DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Former Delta Township Supervisor Ken Fletcher is set to be sentenced in court on Thursday, October 23.

Fletcher was accused of engaging in sexually explicit text conversations with a person he believed to be a minor.

According to investigators, Fletcher communicated with Detective Scheib from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, who was posing as a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr between August 13 and August 14, 2024.

During the exchange, Fletcher allegedly sent suggestive messages and expressed willingness to meet the teen at the Lansing Mall.

He was later charged with one count of using a computer to commit a crime, a four-year felony, as well as accosting a child for immoral purposes.
