KOZHIKODE: Social activist Bindu Ammini filed a complaint against MP NK Premachandran for his remarks regarding the entry of women into Sabarimala. Bindu filed the complaint at the Koyilandy police station.

NK Premachandran had earlier alleged that the Pinarayi Vijayan government brought both Bindu and Rehana Fathima to Sabarimala temple before feeding them with porotta and beef dishes at the guest house in Pala. Premachandran called out the duplicity of the current government in conducting a Global Ayyappa event after disrespecting the temple customs.

Bindu, in her complaint, labelled the statement as false and defamatory, which she said tarnished her reputation. Bindu Ammini denied going to the Pala guest house or the Kottayam Police Club before climbing the hills to the shrine. Bindu
