Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups have been arrested in connection with a federal investigation into sports betting.

Rozier and Billups arrests were first reported by ESPN.

The Associated Press reported that a message was left by Jim Trusty, Rozier's attorney, on Thursday.

Trusty previously told ESPN that Rozier was told that an initial probe determined he did nothing wrong after he met with NBA and FBI officials in 2023, the sports network reported.

Rozier was arrested early Thursday morning as part of an FBI sports betting gambling probe, sources tell ESPN.
