At least eight people were injured from an overnight drone attack across three districts in Kyiv that damaged several buildings including a kindergarten.
According to local authorities, Russian drones sparked a fire in a kindergarten and damaged a residential building, an office center and a synagogue in Kyiv's Podil district.
In two other districts of Ukraine's capital, two residential buildings were damaged, the prosecutor's office said.
Ukraine's Air Force said Russia fired a barrage of 130 strikes and decoy drones across the country overnight.
The attacks come as the European Union agreed on Thursday on a new raft of sanctions against Russia targeting its shadow fleet of oil tankers and banning its imports of liquefied natural gas.
