HAMPDEN -- The Hampden Academy boys soccer program is hosting a fund raiser for the Bangor Humane Society.

On the Hampden Academy campus, right next to the soccer field, a trailer is set up for people to make donations.

They are taking donations such as food, toys, and blankets to name a few.

This fund raiser is not just for Hampden students, others can swing by any day before October 30th to fill the trailer.

“I decided to pick the Bangor Humane Society because pets mean a lot to me. The first pet I ever got was from the Bangor humane society, so I had a great experience there. So, I just wanted to get the boys involved," said Gerald Cushing, the varsity boys soccer coach at Hampden Academy.
