YANCEY COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Yancey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly UTV crash.

According to officials, one adult and one child were killed in the accident.

The sheriff’s office said preliminary findings indicated that speed was not a factor.

“...at this time, there is nothing to suggest anything other than a tragic accident," officials said.

This investigation remains ongoing.
