NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New York City Mayor Eric Adams is expected to endorse independent candidate former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as his successor, a source close to the matter told PIX11 News on Thursday.

During Wednesday night’s final mayoral debate, Cuomo was the only candidate who said he’d accept an endorsement from Adams when asked by moderators.

Adams, who dropped out of the mayoral race on Sept. 28, has previously called Cuomo a “snake and a liar,” as well as the pair of Mamdani and Cuomo “spoiled brats.”
