WASHINGTON — A Washington, D.C., man who gained viral attention for playing "The Imperial March" from "Star Wars" behind National Guard troops is suing several law enforcement officers, claiming they violated his constitutional rights.

Sam O'Hara filed the lawsuit Thursday against an Ohio National Guard member and four Metropolitan Police Department officers. The suit, brought by the American Civil Liberties Union of the District of Columbia, or ACLU-D.C., accuses the defendants of violating O'Hara's First and Fourth Amendment rights, as well as D.C. law.
