Parents urged to bin Peppa Pig toy as item is recalled View 2 Images

A Peppa Pig toy has been recalled as it poses a "serious" choking hazard for children. The safety fears concern a keyring that was packaged as part of a recent issue of Peppa Pig Magazine.

The publishers, Story House Egmont, have decided to "voluntarily recall a gift" featured in issue number 419, which went on sale on September 17 and carries a batch code of 2501462.

The product safety recall states: "We were recently made aware that the key comes apart, creating a small part which can be a choking hazard to young children, particularly those under 3 years of age.

"Safety is of paramount importance to us, so we advise anyone who has this gift to dispose of it.

"Please stop using the recalled product immediately. Y
