The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says a Findlay man was killed in a three-vehicle crash.
The sheriff’s office said Jason Alford, 22, of Findlay, was driving west on U.S. 224 in a minivan at around 4:50 Wednesday afternoon, and as he approached stopped traffic at Township Road 123, he went into the eastbound lane of travel.
His minivan sideswiped a car before striking a pickup truck head-on.
The sheriff’s office said Alford died in the crash, while the driver of the pickup, Barry Handerson, 63, of Alabama, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car that was sideswiped was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
