Nationwide Building Society has warned certain current account customers about a looming deadline.

Their FlexStudent account is approaching the final date to apply, potentially leading to young savers missing out on some significant benefits.

These include £100 in cash, £120 in Just Eat vouchers, and an interest-free overdraft of up to £3,000.

Applications close on Wednesday, October 29, meaning people only have seven days to make a decision.

Fred Powell, head of product at Nationwide Building Society, said: “Last year students loved our FlexStudent offer, so much so that we attracted more than a quarter of the student current account market.

"Given its popularity, we’ve brought it back for a second year and made it bigger, better, and even more rewarding.
