Bhubaneswar : In preparation for the Kali Puja immersion festival, the Cuttack police have beefed up security measures across the city. A significant number of police personnel have been deployed at various corners, and senior officers have been given specific responsibilities to ensure the festival is conducted peacefully.

The police have taken a proactive approach, conducting in-depth discussions with community elders and keeping a close watch on potential troublemakers who might spread misinformation or rumours. The Special Tactical Unit is patrolling sensitive areas, and 64 Platoon Force has been deployed at key locations.
