New York City Mayor Eric Adams confirmed in an interview with The New York Times that he will endorse former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (I) in the race to replace him ahead of Election Day.  Adams is slated to endorse Cuomo on Thursday, a day after the two were spotted seated next to each other at last night’s New York Knicks basketball game. 

The mayor told the Times that he will campaign in areas of the city where Cuomo is most popular in an effort to drive out his base on Nov. 4.
