The Foo Fighters will kick off a 12-city North American tour next summer in Toronto with their new drummer following the 2022 death of Taylor Hawkins.

The band announced the tour details on Thursday, with the launch set for Aug. 4 at Rogers Stadium, the new venue in Toronto, where they’ve long had a devoted fan base.

This is the Foo Fighters’ first stadium tour since the massive 2023-24 Everything or Nothing at All run that sold out football and baseball fields and featured early drumming replacement Josh Freese. Last month, Ilan Rubin made his official debut on drums with the band.

The other Canadian dates are Sept. 15 in Regina at Mosaic Stadium, Sept. 17 in Edmonton at Commonwealth Stadium, and Sept. 20 in Vancouver at BC Place.
